Scuttle loves everybody, but he's especially passionate about investing in and producing original, new works from diverse voices! We want to show the world stories and perspectives they haven't seen before, and take risks on projects from up-and-coming creatives, especially women, queer fam, and people of color. Meet Scuttle
Scuttle's journey to producing started with his training as a therapy dog (also known as a comfort animal) in 2021, when he volunteered as hospitals and senior centers. He took to that training so naturally, that the next year he began training as a full Service Animal! It was at that point that his love of theater began. From his very first Broadway show, the short-lived Once Upon a One More Time, it was clear this fluffy little boy was born to see shows. He has seen every new Broadway production since fall 2023, unless the weather was really bad (he's not a fan of heavy snow or rain, can you blame him?). He's not great about following standard service animal protocol because he loves to make new friends so much! In addtion to producing, investing and seeing theater, he loves to be held, get scritches, play with Lambchop toys, and take naps in all environments. His signature color is rainbow.
Zacqué Aaronson is Scuttle's assistant, manager, carrier when he's tired, and preferred seating place. He has worked in many facets of the theater industry for over a decade, from marketing and advertising to merchandising and front of house. While not a professional performer by any means (contrary to popular assumptions) Zacqué views all the world as a stage (c'mon, Shakespeare!), and every day as a chance to try on wild and wacky costumes and sing in the streets. He sings with the New York City Gay Men's Chorus, actively volunteers in sober support communities, and goes to lots and lots of drag shows and every Beyoncé tour.
What he does more than anything else these days is support live theater, having attended over 300 Broadway shows and countless off and off-off Broadway (where the good stuff is). He has lived in Hell's Kitchen for 18+ years, since his college days at Fordham University Lincoln Center. His favorite musicals are The Color Purple (the inspiration for not only his spiritual perspective but also his deep obsession with all things purple) and Dreamgirls. He loves sparkly/shiny things, bright colors, flamboyant accessories, body diversity, divas, and YOU for reading this!! 💜🙏🏼💋
